‘Suffering in Silence’ explores the stigma around mental health and the difficulties men have in reaching out for help.  It is an imposing installation of 25 life-sized prints of men. The figure is a self-portrait but is used as a general representation of any man. The image is comprised of tally marks used when counting ongoing results. Here, each mark represents an individual. Walking through the immersive installation is a bewildering experience as the figures bear down on you. The weight of burden is visually apparent.
